Expected Holding Period
BRXS Properties approaches real estate as a long-term investment, with the following expectations:
- We intend to hold and manage properties for periods of up to 10 years
- This timeframe allows for both regular rental income and potential property appreciation
- Our strategy focuses on maximizing long-term returns rather than quick turnover
Property Sale Decisions
While we typically aim for longer holding periods, our decision to sell a property is always guided by financial considerations:
- We may sell earlier if market conditions make it particularly advantageous
- We continuously evaluate each property’s performance and market position
- The ultimate goal is to maximize returns for all investors
What Happens When a Property Is Sold
When BRXS Properties sells a property, the proceeds are distributed as follows:
- Any mortgage on the property is repaid
- Transaction costs and fees are covered
- The remaining proceeds are distributed to investors based on their proportional ownership of BRXS notes
This distribution includes both the original investment amount and any appreciation in the property’s value.
Investor Flexibility
It’s important to note that you don’t necessarily need to wait for the property to be sold:
- Through our peer-to-peer Bulletin Board, you may have the option to sell your BRXS notes to other investors before the end of the holding period
- This potential secondary market provides an additional layer of liquidity for your investment
